BEFORE PAINTING, COLLECT AS MUCH REFERENCE as you can find to study and follow during the painting procedure. Google “Pacific sailfish” images and you will find a good assortment to study. Also, be aware that photos of this fish being held out of the water are usually darker than when they are in the water or jumping during the fight.
